Oogie Boogie and the Mayor of Halloween Town

These giant paper mache costumes won the Grand Prize at JW Marriott's 2023 Annual Halloween Party, we won $1,000 and a free night's stay at the hotel. The mayor's head spun around to show his sad face, just like in the classic Tim Burton movie: The Nightmare Before Christmas. We used belts and deflated bike tubes as suspenders to help support the weight of these costumes, as they were very heavy to wear for hours! I worked on these almost every night after work for 1.5 months to finish them in time and we rented a U-Haul to get them to the party as they wouldn't fit in any vehicle.
